Chords and Scales

Learn all your basic Guitar Chords that play hundreds of songs. Then be introduced to Barre Chords, Chord Inversions, CAGED system, Major ad Minor Scales, Modes

Rhythm and Soloing

The great guitar players have an impeccable understanding of rhythm. Learn the fundamentals of strumming for all folk and rock styles and learn syncopated rhythms of funk, soul, reggae, and blues.

Then apply these rhythms to your scales to develop your solo phrasing and technique. I will introduce you to the pentatonic scale and major and minor scales.

Music Theory

The wonders of the guitar and music really open up with a good understanding of music thoery. Be introduced to the fundamentals of music, melody, harmony, rhythm, composition, phrasing, keys,notation, reading music.

Repertoire

Learn your favorite songs. I am able to teach you any of your favorite songs that you want to learn. I am knowledgeable in all genres from rock, folk, pop, jazz, reggae, blues, alternative, to indie. I have you covered.
